This Privacy Policy explains how Score Tracker (developed by JagTheFriend) collects, uses, discloses, and protects your information when you use our mobile application. By using Score Tracker, you agree to the practices described in this policy.

1. Information We Collect

Account Information. When you create an account, we collect your display name and email address via Firebase Authentication.

Profile Data. You may optionally provide an avatar and set a display name that is visible to other users in groups.

App Content. We store match scores, game history, group memberships, and group names that you create or join.

Device Information. We collect device model, OS version, and app version for crash reporting and analytics.

Push Notification Tokens. With your permission, we collect a device token to send notifications about group activity.

2. How We Use Your Information

• Provide and maintain the app's core functionality (scores, groups, statistics).
• Authenticate your identity and secure your account.
• Send push notifications when you are invited to or mentioned in a group.
• Improve the app through analytics and crash reporting.
• Respond to support inquiries and account deletion requests.

3. Third-Party Services

Score Tracker uses the following third-party services:

• Firebase (Google). Authentication, Firestore database, and push notifications. Firebase Privacy Policy
• Capacitor (Ionic). Native device API access (notifications, haptics, share). capacitorjs.com

These services have their own privacy policies governing how they process data.

4. Data Storage and Security

Your data is stored securely in Firebase Firestore (Google Cloud) and is encrypted in transit and at rest. We implement reasonable administrative, technical, and physical safeguards. However, no method of transmission or storage is 100% secure.

5. Data Retention

We retain your personal data for as long as your account is active. If you request account deletion, we will permanently remove your personal data from active systems within 30 days. Anonymised analytics data may be retained longer in aggregate form.

6. Your Rights

You have the right to:

• Access the personal data we hold about you.
• Correct inaccurate or incomplete data.
• Delete your account and associated data — see our Account Deletion page.
• Withdraw consent for push notifications at any time via device settings.

7. Children's Privacy

Score Tracker is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If we learn that a child under 13 has provided us with personal data, we will delete it promptly. If you believe a child has provided us with data, please contact us.

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated effective date. Continued use of the app after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
